What is family therapy?
Although it may feel like nothing will ever change, when you change your response to your family’s behavior patterns, you change your family system. A family system can change when just one person in it makes changes. Perhaps you all agree that you need help or maybe you alone wish to address family conflict and how it impacts you. I welcome all family configurations from intimate partners to chosen or blended or extended families, including children. Therapy is family therapy whether you come alone, with your partner, or with some other constellation of family members.

You may be surprised by shifting roles in your family or support system, overwhelmed by the minutiae of your daily responsibilities, or struggling to adjust to your new life. Wherever you are on your journey, Somatic therapy can help center you in your body so that you have greater resourcefulness to care for yourself, your baby, and your family.
